Privacy policy

Pets1227 respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it.

Information we collect

When you request an appointment we collect the details you share: name, phone number, email, ZIP code, information about your pet (species, breed, weight), preferred date and any notes. We do not collect payment information through this website.

How we use it

Only to quote, schedule and manage your appointments, answer your questions and keep simple records of your pet’s grooming preferences. We never sell or rent your personal data.

Text messages

Submitting the booking form does not enroll you in our text messaging program. We only send text messages to people who text us first. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate (for example our CRM, email or scheduling tools), only as needed and under confidentiality, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep appointment details while you are a client or as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by writing to support@pets1227.com.

Terms & conditions

Aggressive or dangerous pets

Owners must tell Pets1227 if their pet bites, has bitten or is aggressive with people or other animals, and if the pet has any illness. Pets1227 may refuse or stop the service at any time, before or during grooming, and may charge an additional fee for aggressive pets on top of the regular service price.

Medical issues and senior pets

Grooming can be stressful, especially for senior pets or pets with health concerns, and may reveal hidden medical problems or aggravate existing ones during or after the session. These pets are groomed in a calm environment designed not to increase their stress.

For your pet’s benefit, you authorize Pets1227 to obtain immediate veterinary care if we consider it necessary. If Pets1227 recommends it, the owner agrees to seek veterinary care within 24 hours after the service. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Matted coats

Mats only get tighter and can pull on the skin. Removing them is difficult and may require shaving. De-matting carries risks such as nicks, irritation or abrasions caused by warts, moles or skin folds caught in the mats. Mats can also trap moisture and urine, leading to skin issues that existed before grooming. After de-matting, pets may experience itching, redness, self-inflicted irritation, slow hair regrowth or brief behavior changes. Regular grooming is the best prevention. De-matting has an additional charge.

Accidents

Grooming tools are sharp. Although we take great care, minor nicks, scratches or quick cuts can happen, usually when a pet moves suddenly. If a pet becomes overly stressed, including due to owner interference, the session may be ended for safety and the full price will be charged.

Release of liability

By booking with Pets1227 you agree to hold Pets1227, its owners and operators harmless from any damage, loss or claim arising from any condition of your pet, known or unknown to Pets1227. This applies to every pet groomed. These terms may change at any time and the version published on this page replaces any previous one.

Additional charges

Flea and tick treatments, medicated shampoo, specialty cuts, special treatments for skin redness or health issues, aggressive behavior and any additional services carry extra charges.
